DOMAINE DE LA COTE DE FASSE

A family story

We are wine producer for several generations : see the silver Medal won at the « Concours de Chablis » on August  11,1907 by the great-grandfather André Alix.
Our estate, as it exist today, started in 1991 with Françoise Gagnepain and two of her childrens, Laurent and Isabelle. A new chapter of the family wine-story opens. The first vineyards are replanted around our beautiful village Beine. Gradually the vineyard grows to 14,5 ha with two PDOs : Petit Chablis and Chablis.
In 2016, Paul Gagnepain,  the son of Laurent, reaches the team and expand again the vineyard after some years without plantations. The wine range grows : purchase of a Chablis Premier Cru plot in 2017 and planting Pinot noir in 2018 to produce Bourgogne red and rosé.
The Aligoté and Sauvignon grapes will complete our grape variety in the coming years, to be continued …

OUR VINEYARD

20 hectares, over six PDOs

Most of our vineyard is situated on the chablis terroir all around the village Beine, but will also grows on the Grand Auxerrois terroir. Actually we  are growing grapes on six different PDOs : Crémant de Bourgogne, Bourgogne (red and rosé), Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru.

We protect the environment and our natural heritage thanks to a sustainable wine-growing.

We obtained the « High Environmental Quality » HVE-label level 3 on January 6, 2020.
